After 18 years of taking teens to summer camp, I cannot begin to express how important the week of camp is to the spiritual life or our teenagers. It is by far, the most important week of the entire year for us at Franklin Road. With that being said, I am so thankful for the ministry of Indian Creek Baptist Camp. Without fail, our teens enjoy their time there involving themselves in the program offered; but without a doubt, the fire in the pulpit during the service times is by far the most distinguishing aspect of Indian Creek. I highly recommend this great ministry to every youth ministry in America! The results speak for themselves!

We had a great camp week, hearing from Bro. Charlie Clark. There were a lot of good decisions that were made. Our teens are still on FIRE for God. When we got back home that Friday after camp the teens were begging me for an activity the next day, so I gave in. Our activity consisted of preaching and prayer. They loved it and some said it was the best! Our young people have fallen back in love with Jesus (camp does that). Thank you for all you do at Indian Creek Baptist Camp and may God continue to work there and at Shawnee Baptist Church. P.S. – Since camp we’ve had three young people surrender for missions, one to go to Bible College (and is there now), and one to be a pastor.

In 12 years of youth ministry, I always desired to be a part of a meeting like Thursday night. I have heard stories and testimonies from people who had been, but I have never experienced it. Now I have. Not only were we part of a “divine” service, our young people were moved like no other time in my years in the ministry. Tears from guys and girls gave evidence of soft and tender hearts.
